| I'm glad to finally read from one of them who dam sure knows and can confirm what i have been saying all along that Elvis Presley could write songs DESPITE WHAT THE MAIN STREET MEDIA SAYS . Read Red Wests words in 2007: Elvis never really tried to write songs. He just didn't have the patience. He hated to sit down and do anything like that. I think he could have written songs if he'd taken the time and could sit still long enough. If he had written songs, I think Elvis would have come up with more ballads than rock and roll - he had a ballad mind and liked the ballad type songs!!! {end reds quote} Well ole buddy thats what he did with me in 73 but no one believes it enough to put it out even 30 yrs later!!
